Aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and recognized as a RAMP program, we provide proactive, developmentally appropriate instruction that helps every student thrive in school and beyond.

Wayfinder Curriculum

SOAR Expectations (PBIS)

Sand Creek Elementary uses Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to support a positive and consistent learning environment. Our SOAR expectations provide clear guidance for student behavior in all areas of the school.

SOAR stands for:

Safe
Organized
Accountable
Respectful

Students learn and practice these expectations daily, helping to create a safe, supportive place for learning.

PBIS Rewards Program

We use an online PBIS Rewards system to recognize students who demonstrate SOAR behaviors. Students earn points for positive behavior choices and can redeem them for incentives such as game time with the principal, lunch with a teacher, reading with kindergarten friends, extra recess, and other rewards or items.

ASCA and RAMP Alignment

Our counseling program is aligned with the ASCA National Model and recognized as a RAMP program. We support student growth in:

Academic development
Well-being and personal growth
Positive behavior and decision-making

Services include classroom instruction, small group support, individual counseling, and data-informed practices to ensure equitable access for all students.
