PTO

Hi! I’m Sarah Davis, mom to Avery, an incoming first grader at Sand Creek Elementary. Sand Creek and Highlands Ranch feel especially close to home for me because I grew up here myself, attending Northridge Elementary, Cresthill Middle School, and Highlands Ranch High School. It’s incredibly meaningful to now have my daughter attending school in the same community that helped shape me.

Professionally, I wear a few hats. I’m a licensed real estate broker and also work full-time for a multimedia communications company, where I specialize in virtual event planning and client support. Prior to that, I served as Head of Events and Engagement for the foundation of a global financial services company, leading both internal and external fundraising initiatives and employee/community engagement events.

I wanted to join the PTO because I believe schools thrive when families, staff, and the community work together. PTOs play an important role in helping bridge the gap between what schools need and what budgets can provide. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community-building activities, PTOs help create experiences, opportunities, and resources that make a lasting impact on students, teachers, and staff.

As someone with a background in events, fundraising, and community engagement, I’m excited to contribute those skills while supporting the incredible work already happening at Sand Creek. Most importantly, I want to help create a school experience where every student feels supported, every teacher feels appreciated, and every family feels connected.

When I asked Avery what she thinks about me being on the PTO, she said that I like helping people, planning parties, and being involved in whatever she’s doing (nailed it ). She’s excited that I’ll be helping at her school, and I’m excited to give back to a community that means so much to our family.

My name is Cathee Sherr, and I am absolutely thrilled to step into the role of your new PTO Co-President!

On the professional side, I independently own and manage residential rental properties, and my husband, Rob, and I own and manage My Salon Suite in Centennial—a unique premier salon suite concept. Rob is also a huge supporter of our school and helps out a ton with the PTO!

When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m usually enjoying the outdoors or getting creative. I love going camping, paddle boarding, hanging out in the backyard, and doing crafts with my kids.

Speaking of my kids, Liam and Kelsea are a huge part of why I do this. They take immense pride in helping out with our community events, and seeing their faces light up when they spot me down the hall is the best perk of the job. I love getting to know all of the students and seeing the impact we can make.

Our children's elementary school years fly by, and volunteering is such a meaningful way to make a direct difference in their lives and make lasting memories! I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to give back, and I look forward to connecting with all of you this year!

My name is Lauren, and I’m excited to be serving as PTO Treasurer this year. My daughter is in 1st grade at Sand Creek, and I’m looking forward to helping create a fun, supportive community for our kids, families, and educators.

I work in municipal finance, where I analyze local governments, including school districts. So, the Treasurer role felt like a natural fit for me. Outside of work, I love reading, gardening, skiing, and spending time outdoors with my family here in Colorado. One of the reasons I wanted to get involved with the PTO is because I know how much the little things matter to kids—the events, traditions, and sense of community they remember for years afterward. I’m excited to help support those experiences for all of our students.

My daughter thinks it’s very exciting that I’ll be helping at school this year. Mostly because she’s looking forward to playing with her friends during PTO meetings!

Hello! My name is Dina O'Dorisio and I am happy to serve on our PTO Board as Secretary. I am an Internal Audit Executive at Charles Schwab, where I specialize in Technology, Banking, and Anti-Money Laundering risk management. I am a Colorado native and attended Colorado public schools before earning my degree from Colorado State University.

My daughter, Charlotte, will be entering 3rd grade at Sand Creek Elementary this fall. As a PTO board member, I am excited to support initiatives that enhance the student experience, strengthen the partnership between families and the school, and foster the positive, welcoming culture that makes Sand Creek such a special place. I look forward to collaborating with fellow parents, teachers, and staff to support the needs of our school community and create meaningful opportunities for our students and families.
