Helping your Child Identify and Cope with Emotions

  • Expand your child's emotional vocabulary. Make a poster and include images to represent that feeling. Children's List of Emotions
  • Model it. Talk to your child about some of your own emotions and demonstrate healthy coping strategies to manage them.
