What is a School Accountability Committee (SAC)?
All schools and districts are required by state law to convene an Accountability Committee. At the school level, the committee is called the School Accountability Committee or SAC. It's responsibilities included, but are not limited to: 

  • advising the principal concerning the preparation of the school’s Unified Improvement Plan (UIP);
  • making recommendations to the principal concerning priorities for spending school funds;
  • gathering and providing information to the principal on the needs or concerns of the school’s community;
  • recruiting individuals to serve on SAC; and
  • helping school staff build and strengthen family and community engagement.

  • September 20
  • November 29
  • January 24
  • February 28
  • April 25

Meetings are from 4:15-5:15PM and take place in the PD Room.
