Kristin Allen

My name is Kristin Allen and I’m so excited to be joining the amazing team at Sand Creek Elementary as a kindergarten teacher! I previously taught kindergarten for 12 years before taking a hiatus to raise my young family. I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom and am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where our youngest learners feel supported, valued, and excited to learn.  

Sand Creek holds a special place in my heart—I’ve been part of this wonderful community for the past four years. My husband and I have four children who all attend Sand Creek, and we truly love being part of such a caring and connected school family. Some of the things I enjoy most are reading, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and traveling.

Malina Suchand

Hello Sand Creek Families! My name is Malina Suchand and I am very excited to start Teaching Kindergarten again! I started at Sand Creek Elementary last year part time working with children with special needs and I love being part of the Sand Creek community. I taught kindergarten in Texas for 5 years before taking time off to stay home with my two boys. Something about me, I was born in Puerto Rico and I have also lived in New Jersey, Texas, Calgary, Edmonton and for the last three years, Denver. I look forward to our 2024-2025 school year!
