Jennifer Anton

Hello! This is the third year I get to teach at Sand Creek Elementary School and it is the best place to be! Currently I am the K-6th Moderate Needs Literacy Interventionist and the Case Manager for mild/moderate needs students with IEPs in 4th - 6th grades. Here is a little more information about my experience...

My family and I moved to Highlands Ranch in 2017 from Ormond Beach, Florida.  I have had the privilege of teaching exceptional students in the public school setting since 2011. Prior to that I was a Behavior Specialist for a couple of private schools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and high behavior needs. I have also worked as a Project Coordinator/Social Worker for an inner city school in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I obtained a Bachelor's in Social Work, Minor in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  I have received extensive training in ABA therapy through Bancroft Center of Excellence and Florida Institute of Technology.  In 2017 I obtained my Master's in Education Degree in Exceptional Student Education and an Interventionist Certificate through Project Bridges, a grant funded project through the Office of Special Education Programs, at the University of Central Florida.

This following is my contact information.  I am available most days from 1:30pm-2:10pm during my planning period.  Please email, or call and leave a message with the front office, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
